Fitness Week Starts Tomorrow! Our team name is the Blue Bolts! Our class color is light blue. Please remember to do the Rainbow Challenge at home with your child. Eat a rainbow of fruits and vegetables every day. Wear light blue everyday! If you don't have light blue, just wear your fitness week shirt every day! Our walkathon is on Tuesday.
If you have not returned the Getty Museum field trip permission slip, please send it to school as soon as possible with the $10 donation.
We have enough volunteers for Gold Rush day! Thank you for your help and you should see a purple folder purple inside your homework folder that will tell you your assignment.
Please send your GR Day donation if you have not done so already. Thank you again for all your help and support in making this day a success for your child.
WE NEED DONATIONS OF EMPTY EGG CARTONS (not the foam kind), BUTTONS, and FABRIC FOR AN ART PROJECT. PLEASE SEND IN ANY OF THESE ITEMS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU!
Remember that this Thursday we are performing our ballroom dances for you! Please join us in the auditorium at 11:00.
SBAC testing is next week. We will start with ELA on Tuesday. Math start on Tuesday of the following week. Please be sure your child gets enough rest, has a nutritious breakfast, and arrives on time. No homework will be given on the nights we have testing during the day. You can visit www.sbac.portal.airast.org/ca to check out practice tests with your child. Once you get there, click on the green box that says practice and training tests. You can sign in as a guest. Unfortunately, there are no answers available, but you can see how questions are posed and how students are expected to answer. Please let me know if you have any questions.
This week you will be receiving information on Gold Rush Day, as well as our last field trip of the year to the Getty Museum. Please check your child's homework folder for those papers.
