Weekly News for September 5 -8

Graded Work Envelope
You will receive a Graded Work Envelope on Thursday of this week. Please look over the papers inside with your child and discuss things that went well and areas for improvement. DO NOT keep the papers at home. We are building a portfolio with all our work and need papers to be returned to class. Thank you! Be sure to sign the envelope and let me know if you have any questions. You have one week to return the envelope. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

If your child has earbuds or headphones at home, please send them to class as soon as possible. I have headphones from the 3rd grade teachers, as well as from parents who ordered new headphones this year.

New Schedule Starts this Week!

  • Monday - Psychomotor with the PE coaches and Music with Miss Staves (next week)
  • Wednesday - Library
  • Thursday - Ballroom Dance (starting in October)
  • Friday - PE with coaches

We need volunteers to help on Monday mornings at psychomotor from 8:10-9:10. You will work with the PE coaches to help run stations and monitor the students. We need at least a few parents so we can have a rotating schedule. If you are able to make this commitment, please email Mrs. Sundberg as soon as possible. Thank you!

Scholastic Book Orders

New book orders are in your child's homework folder!  Orders are due by Friday. You can order online using the code attached to the book order!  Every time you order, our classroom gets a free book!
